When do we realize that Wicca as a religion is a form of spirituality that we want to learn?
No one can answer that question easily…… For some it is the serenity of the seasons, for others it a strong desire to return to the ways of the earth, and for others it is simply home. Whatever the reason they are called, most seek to learn and understand what the God & Goddess holds for them in Circle Work. When combined with regular solitary spiritual work, Circle Work helps us find answers to questions that arise when we go deep within. Circles are way of nurturing each other, supporting each other, and following that basic instinct that draws us to places where we feel safe, loved, and understood.
A letter from IxChel: Warmest Greetings~ Spirituality is the soul food of humanity. Through our connection with ourselves and our divine power we find ways to overcome our fears and better relate to the world around us.
I walk this path because it fits my heart perfectly. To open myself to the beauty of the God & Goddess in the earth and it's changing seasons seems the right way to nurture my spirituality.
I invite you to question everything that you learn. For in questions, you honor your needs and you open yourself up to possibilities that expand your awareness, and feed your hunger for growth. Blessings ~ IxChel Hathoor
IxChel Hathoor is the High Priestess of ElderMoon Circle. She has been a practicing priestess for eight years, and has studied Wicca formally for over ten years. She is a child of the hippie movement, and was raised with herbs, astrology, and organic foods as a natural part of life. As an adult, she searched for a culture and a religion that honored her roots as well as encouraging her growth. Now, as a Wiccan High Priestess she works both within ElderMoon and without, serving others who contact to request information about Wicca, and the ways of our work.
