For some Wiccans, there comes a time when working as a solitaire no longer provides enough stimulation and growth to feed our spirits. Yet, raising our heads up from our own private work takes courage. It is a necessary step in growth though. So what does a Wiccan do when they want to find a healthy group? They send alot of emails to the covens listed on the internet, and then they wait. Covens seem very mysterious to an outsider, but more often than not they are a flurry of activity that is more about getting everyone together to have a good ritual than anything dark and dramatic. The next question is: What is it like in EMC?
That is an honest question. Working in ElderMoon Circle involves work. Mental work, emotional work, and physical work all join together to create our spiritual work. We expect members to study and master Wiccan knowledge and experience. Progress is not measured on any timeline, nor is it driven by anyone person within the coven. Rather it is driven by each person's individual desires to grow. This is work that is inspired by a strong connection with the divine in all of its forms. We like to explore many different topics and share them with each other. We like to nurture each other's growth, and encourage each other to deal with our shadows and fears and grow strong.
We commit to being honest with other, and respectful with each other. Our members are not perfect, we only want honest people who feel the calling to serve the Gods and the Goddesses in the best way that they know how. Oh.. and you need to know how to fly.. Just kidding!
If you are interested in working in a coven, feel free to email me and we can begin a conversation about working in ElderMoon Circle. I sincerely welcome your interest and a good sense of humor.
